Shotgun lipidomics on hybrid tandem mass spectrometers

We will develop analytical procedures and statistical measures that ensure the consistency of lipidome profiles by taking advantage of a versatile data acquisition routine supported by a hybrid Q Exactive mass spectrometer and the multifaceted spectra interpretation by the LipidXplorer software. Improving the scope, accuracy and consistency of the lipidomic characterization of complex molecular assemblies will be the major goal of the lipidomics technology hub supporting the entire Transregio consortium.
